Irina Shayk and Bella Hadid steal the spotlight in daring looks at Victoria’s Secret afterparty

Irina Shayk and Bella Hadid turned heads once again after the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, swapping their runway looks for daring outfits at the event’s star-studded afterparty in West Hollywood.

The supermodels joined fellow celebrities at The Bird Streets Club following their appearances on the iconic runway, where both wore the brand’s signature angel wings. Their afterparty ensembles proved just as eye-catching, with sheer fabrics, lingerie-inspired looks and bold silhouettes dominating the night.

Irina Shayk and Bella Hadid turn up the heat

Irina, 40, marked a decade since her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut in a striking black ensemble. She wore a black bra with low-slung, sheer trousers that revealed a thong underneath, embracing a lingerie-inspired look for the celebrations.

Bella, 30, who was celebrating her sixth show, opted for a barely-there sheer black mini dress that showcased her figure.

The pair were among several stars who brought dramatic fashion choices to the afterparty. Daiane Sodre also embraced a sheer look, while singer Tate McRae stepped out in a leopard-print mini dress with a plunging neckline and fitted waist.

Tate had performed during the runway show, delivering her hits in lingerie-inspired styling. For the afterparty, she traded the stage-ready look for her striking animal-print outfit.

Ashley Graham also made an impression in a black, white and red dress featuring a deeply plunging neckline, a departure from the floral lingerie she wore on the runway.

Irina reflects on a decade with Victoria’s Secret

Irina’s relationship with the brand dates back to 2016, when she made her Victoria’s Secret debut while pregnant with her daughter, Lea De Seine, now nine, whom she shares with former partner Bradley Cooper.

Asked backstage how she would feel if Lea wanted to pursue modelling, Irina responded playfully: “We’ll talk about it later. That’s what I’m gonna tell her!”

The supermodel also explained why she continues to return to the show, pointing to its glamorous lingerie, elaborate wings, friendships and lively backstage atmosphere.

For Irina, the appeal appears to go beyond the runway itself, with the experience offering an opportunity to reconnect with fellow models and celebrate the brand’s signature spectacle.

Bella Hadid and Ashley Graham on the brand’s evolution

Beyond the glamour, Victoria’s Secret has undergone significant changes following years of criticism over its representation of women and workplace culture.

Bella previously spoke about the brand’s transformation in 2021, saying she felt empowered wearing lingerie again rather than feeling that her body was being treated as a moneymaker.

The model had served as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 2016 to 2018 before stepping away in 2020. Her return followed discussions with the company about its plans to improve diversity and introduce new protections for models.

Bella also joined the VS Collective, a group of ambassadors that included Hailey Bieber, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Naomi Osaka. The initiative was intended to promote a broader vision of representation and help reshape the brand’s image.

She explained that returning had initially been difficult because of her previous experiences, but said the company presented changes to its approach to body diversity and the treatment of women. She ultimately felt that its new protocols could help create a better working environment.

Ashley Graham has also been outspoken about representation in the fashion industry. The model, who has appeared in three Victoria’s Secret shows, previously admitted that she hesitated when the brand first invited her to participate.

In 2024, Ashley explained that she had long felt the company’s traditional vision of beauty excluded bodies like hers. However, conversations with its leadership convinced her that the brand was making a meaningful effort to embrace body diversity.

She emphasized that plus-size models should not simply be included as a symbolic gesture, but should be part of a lasting commitment to representing different body types.

As Victoria’s Secret continues to evolve, the latest show brought together its familiar glamour and a roster of established stars. And judging by the afterparty looks, the models were determined to keep the spotlight firmly on fashion long after leaving the runway.
