The Voice contestant Joe Henley is making an impression on viewers with his performances both onstage and behind the scenes.
The 19-year-old singer turned heads during his Blind Audition with a rendition of Travis Tritt’s “Anymore,” earning chair turns from Kelly Clarkson and Riley Green. In a surprising revelation, Joe admitted he had “never done a gig” before stepping onto the show’s stage.
His audition even prompted Riley to join him for an impromptu duet of “My Way.” Joe ultimately chose Riley as his coach, joining Team Riley for the competition.
The following week, Joe returned for the Battle Rounds, where he went head-to-head with experienced performer Kenna Elpers. The pair performed “Don’t Mind If I Do,” the duet by Riley Green and Ella Langley.
After their performance, Joe was declared the winner of the battle, securing his place in the next round of the competition.
