The 14-time Grammy winner, 36, appeared in a sparkling, floor-length gown as she performed “I Knew It, I Knew You,” her song from the upcoming animated film Toy Story 5.
The track has already achieved a major milestone, reaching No. 1 on U.S. country radio. The chart-topping success marked Swift’s first No. 1 on the format in 13 years.
According to footage shared by fans on social media, Swift also performed several of her other songs during the evening, including “Blank Space,” “Love Story” and “The Fate of Ophelia.”
Her appearance had been announced earlier in October. Amy Homma, president and director of the Academy Museum, praised Swift’s global influence and described her as an extraordinary talent whose work resonates with audiences worldwide. Homma also said the museum was delighted to welcome the singer to close out an evening celebrating filmmakers and supporting the institution’s mission.
A night celebrating cinema

The sixth annual Academy Museum Gala honored filmmaker and composer John Carpenter, actor Colman Domingo and actress Charlize Theron.
The event supports the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and its work to celebrate and preserve cinema. According to organizers, proceeds help fund exhibitions, educational programs and public screenings while keeping the museum accessible to visitors of all ages.
Rolex returned as the gala’s exclusive partner, while Tom Ford, Robert Rodriguez, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw served as co-chairs.
The evening also attracted a host committee featuring prominent names from film, music and entertainment, including Jessica Alba, Adrien Brody, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Hudson, John Legend, Demi Moore, Seth Rogen and Teyana Taylor.
Another milestone for Swift

The Academy Museum Gala appearance comes during another notable year for Swift. Later in October, she is scheduled to be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, becoming its youngest-ever inductee at 36.
The ceremony is set for Oct. 26 at Music City Center in Nashville.
Between her latest country radio achievement, her contribution to the Toy Story franchise and her upcoming songwriting honor, Swift continues to make an impact across music and entertainment.
