Zach Bryan Reveals His New York City Townhouse, Blending Manhattan Style with Oklahoma Roots

Country star Zach Bryan has transformed his New York City townhouse into a home that reflects both his life in Manhattan and the Oklahoma roots that continue to shape him. From weathered architectural details to dark wood interiors and a portrait honoring his military service, the newly designed space offers a personal glimpse into the singer-songwriter’s world beyond the stage.

Bryan, 30, shares the Manhattan home with his wife, Samantha Leonard Bryan. In a home tour published by Architectural Digest on Monday, October 12, the couple opened their doors to reveal how designer Alan Eckstein of Somerset House helped turn the historic property into a space that feels distinctly their own.

A Manhattan Home That Felt Like Destiny

Bryan’s connection to New York City began growing during the early years of his music career, when he started spending more time in the city. Walking past its traditional brownstone buildings, he imagined what it would be like to own a home there.

“I’d walk through the neighborhood, past all the brownstones, and think how beautiful it would be to own a home here and sit in the park,” he told Architectural Digest.

That dream eventually became reality when he discovered his current townhouse, a historic property featuring wood-burning fireplaces and distinctive architectural details.

“The creaky wood and the old architecture made me feel attached to it,” Bryan said.

Despite that initial connection, the home needed time and thoughtful design to reflect his personality. After spending a year living there with only the “bare necessities,” the singer enlisted Eckstein to help bring his vision to life.

According to the designer, Bryan had a clear idea of what he wanted from the beginning.

“He’s an old-school artist who does it all himself,” Eckstein explained. “He does it his way. And right from the get-go, he laid out what he wanted with the house.”

Leather, Copper and Dark Wood Bring Character to the Space

Rather than pursuing a polished, contemporary aesthetic, Bryan and his wife wanted a home with a sense of history and individuality.

“They wanted character. They wanted patina,” Eckstein said of the couple’s shared vision.

To achieve that look, the designer incorporated materials including leather, iron, copper and white oak. Combined with the townhouse’s aged architectural features and wood-burning fireplaces, these elements give the interiors a lived-in quality that complements the atmosphere of Bryan’s music.

The design also draws heavily on the singer’s Oklahoma upbringing. Dark wood throughout the home serves as a reminder of the place where he grew up, bringing a familiar touch of his past into his life in New York.

Another meaningful detail is an oil portrait of a sailor, a tribute to Bryan’s eight years of service in the U.S. Navy before his music career took off.

For Samantha, these personal touches are what make the home especially meaningful.

“He really pulled themes from throughout our lives and embedded them into the space,” she told Architectural Digest.

The result is a home that brings together different chapters of the couple’s lives, balancing the character of a historic Manhattan property with details that reflect their personal histories.

Inside Zach and Samantha Bryan’s Life Together

The townhouse reveal also offers a glimpse into the couple’s life since their marriage. Bryan and Samantha, who had been linked since July 2025, reportedly married on December 31, 2025, in Spain.

Following the wedding, a video of the couple getting into a car decorated with a “Just Married” sign circulated online. Bryan later shared a photo of himself holding Samantha, who wore a strapless white gown. Two days afterward, Samantha posted a series of photographs from the ceremony, captioning them “forever xx.” The ceremony appeared to take place at Basílica de Santa María del Coro, a Baroque Roman Catholic church in San Sebastián, Spain.

The wedding also carried a deeply personal tribute. A few days after the ceremony, Bryan revealed that Samantha had incorporated lace from his late mother’s wedding dress into her own gown.

“Samantha went out of her way to put my mom’s wedding dress lace on her dress and I cried for a good bit,” he wrote in an Instagram Stories post at the time. “Meant so much sweetheart, thank you.”

That same attention to personal history is reflected in the couple’s New York home. Through its materials, artwork and architectural details, the townhouse brings together Bryan’s Oklahoma upbringing, his years in the Navy and the life he and Samantha are building in Manhattan.

The home is featured in Architectural Digest’s November 2026 issue.
