At Just 15, Allie Rae Has The Country Voice And Confidence Of A Much More Experienced Performer — Riley Green Even Called Her A “Mini Reba”

At just 15 years old, Allie Rae is already showing the kind of confidence and country music instincts that many singers spend years developing. The young Texas singer brought her personality and distinctive country sound to the stage during The Voice Season 30’s Cut Week, taking on Lainey Wilson’s “4X4XU” in a performance that earned enthusiastic praise from the coaches.

Allie looked right at home with the song, delivering it with an assured stage presence and a vocal style that reflected her growing connection to country music. Rather than allowing her young age to define the performance, she approached the challenge with remarkable composure. Her voice carried a natural country character, while her confident delivery showed just how much she had developed since her first appearance on the show.

Her coach, country star Riley Green, was particularly proud of what he saw. He praised the performance enthusiastically, describing Allie as a “mini Reba” and saying she had grown tremendously since the Blind Auditions. He also admitted that she had set the bar high, making it difficult for the other singers on his team to match her performance. Kelly Clarkson was equally surprised by her talent, exclaiming that she could hardly believe Allie was only 15.

Allie’s journey on the competition has been impressive from the beginning. During the Blind Auditions, her rendition of Alannah Myles’ “Black Velvet” attracted three coaches, but Riley Green used his special First-In button to secure her place on his team immediately. She later won her Battle against Harmony McKee with “Ain’t No Sunshine”, giving her another opportunity to demonstrate her versatility.

Although Riley ultimately selected Joe Henley for his remaining Live Shows position, Allie was not out of the competition entirely. She became one of the artists eligible for America’s vote for an additional place in the live rounds. Regardless of the outcome, her performance of “4X4XU” offered another reminder that remarkable musical talent can emerge at any age. At just 15, Allie Rae has already given viewers plenty of reasons to remember her name.
